Went for dinner tonight with some family. We didn't have a reservation, but they fit us in. Being a Friday night it was busy and with the small space it was not overly loud but a good buzz of customers enjoying themselves. The service is excellent and the food was fantastic. The prices are really reasonable and good value for the money. We were 17 per person for dinner.... really can't beat that value!

One of my favorite local places. If you come for dinner it is usually very busy but gets quiet after 7. It can be loud because it is a small space. The food is amazing and quality is outstanding and food is always fresh. I haven't had a bad thing here but my go to is the Q4. I always leave feeling very full but in a healthy way! Parking is a little limited so if you drive a truck you might have a tough time in the back lot.

I've been coming here for years and Kim's is always been so consistently amazing. Such an amazing blend of dishes that accommodate all preferences/diets. I'm always grateful to walk away feeling great from meals that are packed with protein and filled with fresh, perfectly cooked, seasoned, and selected veggies. They also have so many amazing vegetarian options with a ton of tofu! By far the best Korean restaurant in town!!

Wasn’t expecting to find such great and authentic Korean restaurant on the island. It was delicious and my family really enjoyed the food here.

If you are craving authentic Korean food this place along with the other restaurant by the blue motel are your two good options. I ordered the chicken BBQ set to go and it came with lettuce wrap. I hope to come back here with my wife and have a proper dinner here.

Visited the place,when we came to parksville,nanaimo.Loved the interiors.Great food.This was my first experience with korean food and loved it . Going try it more. Its clean place.staffs were so friendly and attentive Will come back again and recommend everyone to try it

Stopped in for a quick lunch and it was good. Server was friendly and nice portion. Some items were more expensive than I thought. Soup came super hot and fresh.

(stopped mid-eating to take a photo haha) Kim's Korean BBQ is amazing! Love their tofu japchae, super flavourful and a good portion. My go-to is the spicy pork bulgogi ssam set! I've done their Wednesday hotpot with friends and had the best time, so delicious and a great outing for a group.
